Why are we here?

We are here to help each other walk God’s way. At some point, through all kinds of circumstances, people have gone their own way. We miss the life God intends for us to have in close relationship with Him. DHVC believes God’s way is best and God’s way is most clearly shown in Jesus.

God is passionate about people because he made us. He sent Jesus to clearly demonstrate God’s way. The way of God is to accept people where they are, and to invite them to join life in his kingdom. At DHVC our aim is to help one another live God’s way in the unique situations we find ourselves – whether in our neighbourhood, in our home, in our workplace, or in our school.

And helping each other walk God’s way is characterised by love. Love God. Love people. Always.
