G-Force
Dickens Heath Village Church feels that Children play a huge role in our Church family. G-Force is our special place for the younger children. Divided into several different groups, G-Force wants each child to experience God’s love for them in ways appropriate for their age. We want children to enjoy being a part of the church. Learning about God in fun ways is how we build an appealing environment in Kids Zone. Through games, crafts and Bible stories children learn about friendship with God. Usually, the children take part in the first portion of the main service, and then go to G-Force for 30-45 minutes.
G-Force - Birth / Yr 6
Y-Zone
This is the youth group of DHVC. Our purpose is to help young people become better friends with God and with others. Because life can be exciting, we try to develop friendship with God and others through a variety of means. We meet on Sunday mornings as a part of the larger church. Y-Zone Alpha has a small group time, and Y-Zone Omega takes part with the adults. Both Alpha and Omega have shared in the main worship through drama, music and speaking. Relationships can be built through exciting events. This is why Y-Zone also has socials. These have included ten-pin bowling, films, concerts, parties, video games, football, a weekend retreat, and paintball.
