Village Church

We'd love to have you visit our church. We have a variety of small groups that meet throughout the week. Since we are sensitive to the needs of parents with small children, a nursery is available for most church services.

We meet every Sunday at  Dickens Heath Community Primary School and share in a cup of tea or coffee from 10:15. Our Worship service commences at 10:30 am.

Here is a typical Sunday service:

Worship Songs - We have a worship team consisting of keyboards, guitars and drums which lead us in worship. Most of the songs are contemporary worship songs. The congregation views the words projected on a video screen. Sometimes we stand, sometimes we sit while singing worship songs; some raise hands, others do not.

Message - This is usually led by one of our leadership team. Notes are projected on the video screen for the congregation to follow. The teaching is relaxed and the congregation are free to ask questions and make comments during the teaching.

Communion - We have communion during most Sunday Services. Communion is a portion of our service that allows us to remember the Sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for each one of us. We invite all Christians to join us. It is done in various ways (sometimes coming forward, sometimes passed to the congregation, but always with clear directions). Children are welcome to participate in communion at the discretion of their parents.
